A piece inspired by the first sunset I saw as soon as I got to Arkansas.
I wanted my art mentor to challenge me to make it as true as possible to help exercise skills I already had that had gone slightly dormant-but I also learned many new skills and much more as a professional artist.
9 months and many layers later-and there she was.
