Seemingly Peaceful Landscape Oil Painting, "Olive Branches Only Scratch & Hurt"
A piece that I was inspired to make from Sophie Holohan's amazing music a little over two whole years ago-and just now the piece is finally complete!
The lyrics of the song, Olive Branch, truly resonated with me as soon as I heard them for the first time. Now that I'm married to the true love of my life with our first beautiful baby boy; I can release some of this longing hurt and leave my branches to myself in my loving home.
But sometimes my mind remembers those past friends and lovers, and I listen to this song to help soothe my heart and remind myself that not every olive branch needs to be extended. Instead I just reminisce on the fields I've grown.
